Recreational soccer registration is moving to a Central Registration system under the FC Northwest umbrella. The system is RAMP and the link can be found here

Registration for indoor Soccer will open August 19th.

2025 INDOOR INFORMATION:

FCNW Rec Indoor Soccer 2025-26
Community Centers: Tyndall Park, Maples, Garaden City, Vince Leah, West. St. Paul and East St, Paul.

Indoor Fees: U9 to U18 (2016 to 2007) $400 Plus $39 MSA Fee

? The league is available for players between the ages of 9-18 (born 2007 to 2016).
? The season will start in November and finishes in mid-March.
? Christmas break from December 22 to January 5
? This is a city-wide league, and games are scheduled by WYSA (Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association).
? Historically, the girls' teams play on Saturdays and boys' teams play on Sundays. Older age groups may play during the week Thursdays.
? Games are played in venues throughout the city: Winnipeg Soccer Federation South(University of Manitoba), Axworthy Health and RecPlex (University of Winnipeg), and Winnipeg Soccer Federation North (on Leila close to McPhillips)
? Game times will vary each weekend with start times between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
? Practices - Teams will look to have one practice a week in a school gym. Dates and times are determined after registration based on how many teams we have and permits each Community Center receives.
? Teams will be determined in October.
? Late registration will only be accepted depending on the availability of roster spots in the age group.

 

COACHES NEEDED: Parent coaches are the foundation of our soccer teams. In fact, the league doesn’t exist without them, so we ask that you strongly consider the possibility of stepping up for this important leadership role.

Coaches will complete the applicable coaching credential, along with ongoing support and access to resources. Not only will you be contributing to your child's development, you will be supporting the community too. Be part of this rewarding experience!

PLEASE NOTE: Rosters will be balanced for size and friend requests (must be mutual) will be considered.

 

 

2025 OUTDOOR INFORMATION:

WYSA U9-U12 Recreational League
-Number of Matches: 14
-Days of Play: U9 & U11 will play on Tuesday & Thursday, U10 & U12 will play on Mondays & Wednesdays
-Season Format: All teams will play 14 matches
-Season Kickoff: Monday, May 5th, 2025 (This date will be dependent on weather)
-Season Length: May 5th– June 26th, 2025
-Jamboree Date: June TBD

WYSA U13-U18 Recreational League
Number of Matches: 18
-Days of Play: U13/U15/U17 will play on Tuesday & Thursday, with an alternate day of Sunday, U14/U16/U18 will play on Mondays & Wednesdays, with an alternate day of Friday
-Season Format: All teams will play a 14-match League Season, play 4 playoff matches, then the top 2 teams move on to the Championship Finals (held at John Blumberg Soccer Complex)
-Season Kickoff: Monday, May 5th, 2025 (This date will be dependent on weather)
-Season Length: May 5th – June 26th, 2025
-Playoffs will run from June 30th until July 17th, 2025
-Championship Finals Weekend will be July 18-20, 2025

 

2025 Outdoor 4 Week Shooting Program - (NEW)!! 

U7-10 year olds : Friday Evenings beginning May 2nd

U11-13 year olds : Sunday Evenings beginning May 4th

You are able to register for individual dates through this link: HERE . This program is for players wanting to improve their shooting technique. Players will be taught how to properly kick a ball, and which technique should be used in different situations. Repetition is very important, and players will be given the opportunity to shoot at the goal as much as possible in an hour. Players will also have the opportunity to improve their passing and dribbling skills during the drills. Each hour practice is designed for the number of players registered.

Goalies are also able to register for this program, they will face a lot of shots to improve their shot stopping skills.

* All classes are subject to change due to registration numbers as well as weather. Refunds will be given for any class cancellations. All classes will be pushed to the earleir start time if registration numbers are low.
